Lemon Cake Pudding
Preparation time: 75 minutes. Serves 8
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup whole milk
- 4 tbsp butter
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 6 tbsp flour
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Cream together sugar, butter, and salt until smooth. Add egg yolks, flour, lemon juice, lemon zest, and milk. Mix thoroughly.
Fold in beaten egg whites.
Pour into a deep casserole dish. Set dish into a pan of water and bake for 1 hour.
